Privacy policy

DailyPopup ("we", "us") provides a service that lets businesses show a photo popup on their own website. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it, in plain language.

What we collect from account holders

When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your name and business name. Authentication is handled by Clerk, our sign-in provider. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.

Your photos

Photos you publish are stored only for the duration you choose. When a popup expires or is taken down, the photo is permanently deleted from our storage. We don't use your photos for anything except displaying your popup.

Visitors to your website

The DailyPopup embed script does not track visitors to your website. It stores a single value in the visitor's browser (localStorage) so the popup shows at most once per day per visitor. We don't collect analytics, use tracking pixels, build profiles, or sell any data — visitor data or otherwise.

Cookies

Our own website and app use only the cookies required for signing in. No advertising or third-party analytics cookies.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run the service: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and photo storage), Clerk (authentication), and Stripe (billing). Each receives only the data needed to do its job.

Deleting your data

Deleting your account removes your business data, locations, staff records, and any stored photos. Email hello@dailypopup.com and we'll take care of it.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes materially, we'll email account holders. Questions: hello@dailypopup.com.
